This course is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills related to green production in a manufacturing environment. Topics covered include:
- Train workers in environmental issues
- Implement and promote environmental programs, projects, policies or procedures
- Conduct environmental incident and hazard investigations
- Conduct preventive environmental inspections
- Monitor environmental aspects at each stage of productions
- Implement continuous improvement in environmental assurance
- Use advanced materials in production to reduce waste
- Reprocess materials by recycling and reuse
This course is equivalent to WKO 135. Students completing this course will be eligible to test for the MSSC certificate in Green Production.
